For those who shoot weddings, I would assume you shoot 300-1000 pictures. Sometimes more? My question is, do you shoot in RAW and JPEP or just one or the other. Do you edit a handful of RAW files only for those few GREAT shots. Do you edit in Lightroom or Photoshop?

I almost always shoot over 1000 images per wedding, delivering anywhere between 400-800. I shoot in RAW only, cull them in Photo Mechanics, then edit in Lightroom 4.

Oh, and this should probably be in the wedding talk section, not the photo sharing section

This question is asked a lot, but we all change over the years.
I shoot RAW + Large JPEG. I have a lot of CF cards. I edit every workable image up to 250-300 per wedding. Sometimes I only get 50, but i try to work around it. Depending on how long the wedding and reception are, I can take up to 1500 images myself and my helpers will do half that. I look at every image and do a RAW conversion and crop and fix flaws on close up portraits. It just depends on what the clients want.

I haven't shot too many weddings but generally I shoot Raw+Jpeg. Last wedding I shot around 700. You can post process your raw files using Lightroom and then use photoshop to make any other adjustments.

I shoot in RAW. Typically end up with 1000+ images.
I cull in Bridge, do my conversion in ACR, then finish it off it Photoshop CS5. I'll do batch conversions where I can...i.e. photos shot under the same lighting conditions and with same/similar exposure.

I shoot anywhere between 1000-1200 RAW images for a wedding. I do a quick color and WB correction in LR4 then I will look through my images and if I see any that would look good in Black & White then I'll convert those. I'll spend maybe a few hours on photos. Then I'll find about 400-600 to give to the client on disk.

I shoot raw..edit in lightroom. The amount of images I deliver will depend on how long the event is.
The client will end up with about 100 images for every hour I shoot.

Shoot RAW, I end up with roughly 150-200 images per hour, I deliver about 100 images per hour. I edit in Lightroom. For proofs I just do basic color corrections. For ordered prints I do a full edit.

I shoot RAW, 1200-2000 photos in an eight hour wedding day, edited to usually 400-500. My assistant does a lot of the editing, I don't like doing it, quite tedious. I always check it all though.

I shoot only in RAW and use Lightroom for the post processing. If I need to make additional touch ups then I will use photoshop for the detail work. If you camera does jpg and raw, save the jpgs as a backup copy.

Soot in RAW and batch as much as possible in Lightroom. I finish any final touch ups that may be necessary in Photoshop, but that is usually a minimal number. When all is said and done, we generally have 400-500 client-ready images.
