Pretty thrifty devices. I still would like to see an olympic version of BeetleCam chasing the speed skaters.

I think you'll probably just have to settle for the rail-cam the TV side uses...

Can't see them allowing a camera actually on the ice during competition.

I haven't really studiously watched the olympics the past few years but it might be cool if there was a way to rig up a live feed go pro camera to the athletes. Granted it would probably interfere, but might be another unique pov if ever possible.

NBC strapped a GoPro to Aaron Piersol (retired) at the trials in Omaha a couple weeks ago, while he swam in the arena. At least it gave you a sense for what someone at that level is seeing during competition.
