Nope, Just the weather changed a bit before it Rained, That's why the Green's may look a little different in the two. When that second image was shot, it was a lot more cloudy than the first, But yeah He changed color quite a bit while i was taking pictures of it. It was crazy. I Wish i would of gotten the other one. Ill try again tomorrow.

Yeah, patchy clouds and full Manual mode don't play well together.
Is he a pet or just wildlife?

I hear ya, but maybe draw inspiration from photos you like - duplicate them - and then do similar shots that are your own unique perspective. I really like the 50 f/1.8 thread - Canon's cheapest lens but its amazing what many of those folks do.

One of my fave's was merely a shiny fork dropping into water. Amazing simplicity.

Anyways - I've wondered about a thread like this united sensor idea - cool that you did it.

Right back at you , but to be honest i'm not completely satisfied with what i've been posting lately , may be because i've been trying out new stuff (that probably didn't work out as well as i thought they would) or may be because i've been shooting a lot that lately that i just need to stop for a week to re-charge my creativeness battery ( that is if i have one )

You definitely should.
If this thought ever surfaces, you should take a breather. You'll thank yourself when you come back fully recharged.
That is, of course, if you are anything like me
