Default Where do you get your albums from?

Just wondering where you order your albums from? Why do you prefer them? What type of albums to your order?

It's changed a lot for me this past year and all depends on the type of album the client orders.

Press Print Albums now come from Pinhole Pro. The quality of their products just blew me away at WPPI. I use them mostly for portrait albums and they are great for that quality wise. For weddings I always hesitate to let my clients settle on a press print album, but the one wedding album I've printed through them was amazing. For guest book albums they are excellent (get the recycled paper, it's more pen-friendly from what I can tell).

Flushmount Albums come from either PictoBooks or GraphiStudio. I used to use Finao and actually still really like them, but I prefer the options over at PictoBooks better. GraphiStudio has great "high end" leather albums and I like the parent/friend albums that they offer and when buying in a large package like that (album + parent albums + friend albums) they are actually cheaper than buying the same package from PictoBooks. So for those large packages I buy through them.

I love the fine art albums over at West Coast Albums, but since I'm not really a "fine art photographer" it's hard to sell my clients on those so I've never ordered one. But the samples I've seen are amazing.

Queensberry ship worldwide. QB albums prices reflect their quality.

I've been very happy with Zookbinders. My only complaint is that they make changes to their line so often that it can be both challenging and expensive to show meaninful samples. But the quality and price are just right for me and the clients I tend to attract.

They're nice books, but thick rigid paged albums are much more impressive IMHO.

Completely agree. I just don't have the budget to go any higher.. and Asuka's are great if you are looking to spend under $500 for a quality book.

For $500 you can probably get an album from Finaeo or KISS.

My sample album from GraphiStudio are gorgeous and their 12x12s are under $500. And the Bijou Canvas PictoBooks that my latest clients are all gaga over are under $500 for a 12x12. There are many great flushmount albums out there for under $500.
