Besides my lovely galaxy in the other post, this is the fruition of the rest of my expedition up Hyak. I went to the top of the mountain to a meadow, but it was too cloudy up there so I came down the road halfway where the clouds parted for a short while. Really want a clear night up in that meadow though, 3500 elevation and no lights or people :D

yea, i like when i can get a stationary object in there like the trees or the mountain or a lake, it gives a nice reference point and anchor as opposed to just stars
