My take away from the review is that the 1DX seems somewhat more sensitive to light and color. Take the very first set of images in the test. The 1DX shows a more punch in the star clusters and the purple/magenta color in the sky is quite pronounced. Since they used the same lens for all four cameras, they've done a good job of normalizing every condition except camera body, so it seems like a pretty good test.
