Default Water drops and a bug

I'm still learning this lens and have always wanted to try out some water drop shots. Two of my favorites:





And this morning on my way out the door to go to work, this little critter was on the wall near the handle, so I ran back inside and got my camera to get a picture:



Tonight I'm going to try to make a home-made diffuser with a pringles can so I can start getting some better lighting.

100 2.8L IS USM It has become my favorite lens and I've only had it for about 2 weeks.

Thanks all. I'm trying to figure out how to identify the bugs but couldn't figure out where to start on bug guide. There's a very distinct marking on the back of it that looks like a pitchfork but it didn't help me.

That's ok though... I'm a persistant type.
