I need a true critique - Photo Contest Submission

I work for BASF Chemical Company and every year they have a photo contest for next year's corporate calendar. This year, the images had to have three of the 6 BASF colors in it (red, blue, green, orange, and light blue).

The little one had on pink pants and shoes so I color adjusted it. It seems a little saturated to me.

This is my favorite image I have ever taken but I like my B/W version, but the contest is for color only.

I am just not big on this version

it might be a tad oversharpened --- unless thats the look that youre going for. GOOD LUCK!

i like it as is, good color and the garden in front of the kids is very nice

I don't know if theres a size requirement but it feels like there's a little too much space on the left side of the sidewalk. Subject and colors are great though.

I'm not really seeing orange in there and it looks a bit over-sharpened to me, but it's a lovely photo. Have you tried some different crops? Could affect the impact. I find my eyes move around the photo quite a bit given the space.

I cropped them off center on purpose, they were shot dead center
