Also, I need help with the logistics. I don't want it to become a free for all where everyone just puts up their pictures without any feedback. I also want people to get decent feedback. What's a good way to decide when to move on to the next picture, without having someone monitor the thread?
I'd be happy to set it up. I Ike doing things like that and I have a few rules in mind that should make it work. I have a photo that I can use as an example too. Any objections?

Not a problem, go for it! Just one request, could you post a quick message with a link to the thread here once it's all set up so everyone else can jump on it? Thanks!

Yep, I'm nearly done. The thread can be modified if you think some changes will make it better.

I personally love the vibrancy. I would bring out a bit more detail in the shadows and maybe lighten them just a little. Otherwise, very nice!

But it looks ok, a little bit overdone for my taste.

A little dark, especially the shadows. Your eyeballs would see a more dynamic range; so I'd brighten the shadows... maybe a little quasi-HDR would be good. So I voted "under processed."

I don't think it looks over-proccessed, but it's definately too dark. Try to lighten the foreground using either a brush, layer mask, or GND. The grass also looks a little too yellowish.

I have been to the same location:

Hi, Ravi! Haven't seen Bigfoot, but I hear the Tooth Fairy will be making an appearance on Folsom Street next month.

I am struggling with a photo I just posted in critique because on my laptop it looks saturated to the point of being ridiculous, but on my calibrated monitor it looks ok to me. I think people need to mention what they are veiwing with for a proper critique. Yours looks slightly over saturated and I am on my iPad now (which is usually slightly brighter than my calibrated monitor but otherwise pretty close)
Amen to that. I originally looked at it on a Mac notebook, (not sure what model). I think it looks quite a bit darker on my calibrated desktop.

And katgrl82, I like your processing (and the shot).
