Default "Scientists discover new insect species after stumbling upon photos on flickr"

I found this through Slashdot; an insect discovery through someone's photostream.

"Scientists discover beautiful new insect species after stumbling upon photos on Flickr"

http://news.mongabay.com/2012/0809-flickr-lacewing.html

That's like a macro shooter's dream

Edit: kind of disappointing that they don't direct-link to the photographer, but at least he's mentioned a bunch of times.

Much kudos to you kurt! Our collective hat off to you!

Did yoy know that you had discovered a new type of lacewing when you captured it? I mean do you come from entymology or any field close to that?

No matter....what an honor!
