Default Whale watch body/lens choice - boarding in 12 hours (9am EDT).

I'm going on a whale watch in the morning (in Boothbay Harbor, Maine).
I have with me:
Canon Rebel T1i.
Canon 5D Mark II.
Canon S95.
Canon 24-105 f4 L IS.
Canon 70-200 f4 L IS.

I'm inclined to just stick with the 5DII and 70-200, and use the S95 for wider-angle shots. I'll have the 24-105 in my pack in case I want to switch lenses.
But I was thinking, how about using both bodies? 70-200 on the T1i, and 24-105 on the 5DII. If my thinking and calculations are correct, the T1i with 15MP in an APS-C (22.3mmx14.9mm sensor; 4.68um pixels) will give me more resolution for better cropping later. If I want a given whale at a given distance to appear the same size in the frame after cropping, I would have to divide the 5DII's 21.1MP full frame (6.39um pixels) by 1.6. That leaves me with 8.3MP (the 5DII's pixels are bigger). Am I calculating correctly?
I'm expecting clear sunny conditions, so I should be fine at ISOs below 400, meaning better high ISO performance of the 5DII is not a factor to consider.
Thoughts?

I'd take the Rebel and the 70-200, leave the 5d2 behind.

agreed. Unless this is a private tour, the public tours can get a bit crowded and things happen. Also the salt spray can be helish on equipment.
