there seems to be a slight smudge on my camera lens....
how should I clean without damaging/scratching the lens? |

I always use a special very soft cloth my wife got with her new glasses. When it's good enough for your glasses (and most important: doesn't scratch) it should also be good enough for your lens.

Careful not to apply too much pressure while cleaning. Easy does it.
Also, lens cleaning tissue (or q-tip) with destilled water or pure alcohol can be used. Do not use any tissue that may deposit lint. |

Lens cleaning kits are available at all camera stores and on the internet. They come with a soultion and soft cloths which do not scratch - safer to use those rather than do something and scratch the lens !
