LOL, nice shots. Shouldn't they have been under Sports? That's very clean diving, I just demonstrated.

sounds like you had fun. I ended up changing the cambelt on my car so never even made it down to photograph the drag masters

From left to right:
My EOS 500 with Wazza's 580EX and Sigma 70-300 on it.
Duncans EOS 500 (yes that's right 2 film cameras on this outing) joined to his 100-400L.
Pete's 70-200 f.28L, My 18-55 Kit Lens, Wazza's (I think) 50 f1.8.
My 350D with Grip (Yes a digital!) with my 420EX and Weka's Bigma attached. Wazza and Pete's XS drives in front.
Weka's Sigma 24-70 f2.8, My EFS 60 Macro, and 2 strange image storage devices (still tring to find the right type of usb cable to download the images!)
Duncan's 24-70 f2.8L, Weka's 20D with 580EX and Sigma 10-20 attached.
Duncan's 16-35 f2.8L, The 28-80 USM off my EOS 500.
My 55-200 USM, Wazza's 17-40L.
Pete's 20D with 28-105 attached (Yes 2 20D's in one place, and they are both working!)
Unfortunately Duncan and Wazza's 20Ds could not join us, as they are both broken!

Nice gear!
It was very interesting to try out such a wide selection of gear! There were some interesting comparisons.....100-400L with the Bigma, Canon 24-70 f2.8L with Sigma EX 24-70 f2.8, and that 10-20 was just wacky! (in a good kind of way!). Thanks to everybody who bought along their gear for us to play with!

Glad you had fun. Its nice to be able to give back to the group. Scott sing out if you want to have another play with the Sigmas.
Now we have a good selection of glass many of us will be able to make a better informed desision as what to get next. At this stage im done.
I did a talley of what I have spent in the last 6 months about $7400. Dont tell my wife.

Its time to learn, I have no excusses for not having the gear.
