The title says it all. What do you use for carrying tripods/light stands? I need an inexpensive solution. Please share photos and/or links to where you bought them. Thanks a lot!
Currently I use the bags from bag chairs....

Avenger A420 in back of the car. Then just roll the thing with octabox/softbox mounted on strobes.

Manfrotto LBAG110. Large enough and made well.

I found a Manfrotto Padded Tripod Bag (MBAG80PN) locally for around $50. It usually holds lightstands, umbrellas, and a flash or two very nicely. I think I've only used it once to actually hold my tripod.

I use a rolling cart to store my stands. It's basically a tall milk crate with wheels. Not sure I'd hike down a trail or climb a couple stories of stairs but I'd use it for light duty commercial stuff. I put gaffers tape to create three channels so I can get 8 light stands, backdrop rig, slider and a couple umbrellas in it. Otherwise I'd use the bags my stuff came in.
$5.00 folding chair from Wallgreens had a nice black bag, that can carry my tripod or two impact light stands with two umbrellas
I use a banner stand carrying case. It has 4 pockets in side to hold my umbrella and holds 2 stands.

Lowel DP3 Case for stands, lights, gels and softboxes. Probably overkill for you since mine is for continuous lighting but you asked.

Not sure if these qualify as "inexpensive" but I use a pair of Photoflex Transpac Outbound Bags that I purchased from B&H. I carry 4 Impact 13' light stands and a background crossbar in one, and 4x Photoflex Large soft box, 1x Photoflex Medium Softbox, 4x Bowens Quick Rings + a couple of foldable grids in the other.
You might try golf bag covers. I'm sure there are hundreds to choose from, and many of them will be dirt cheep.
