Macro Photo Challenge #1: Damage! (closed)

The macro forum have decided to run a regular fortnightly macro challenge with rotating contest organisers.
I volunteered for the first one and have chosen DAMAGE as the subject.

Entries close Friday Jan 13th 8am
First impressions are important as is a catchy title, technical competence and interesting interpretation of the subject.
