Default F1 Racing Lines

This shot was taken during one of last years Test days at Silverstone. Best thing about the day was that it was free and apaprently you can get access to the pitstops for 25 quid!

I thought I would be using the 300 the most that day but as it turns out the 70-200 was nearly always stuck on the camera.

I left the grass patch at the bottom right as I thought it helped frame the cars a little better

Last year after watching the USGP on tv I was thinking it would be surprising if the US welcomed back GP in 06. Still can beat the sound of an F1 car hurtling down the track.

I think this is correct....

21 - 23 Feb
25 - 27 April
19 - 21 Sept

I aim to be there 22Feb and 26 April if I can make it!

This is a bit strange, when I looked the other night at the race calender page it gave the dates Mike mentioned. If you take a look now they dont seem to be there anymore, unless I'm missing it...

I rang them (which is where I got the dates from) and they said they are updating their website, which is why the dates are missing.

Nice one Mike.

It would be good to maybe setup a F1 meet maybe?

I hope those dates on the Silverstone calander stay the same, as I've already booked holiday from work

I went along last February and it was bitter but it was nice to see a couple of F1 cars driving in a snow storm

I think teams will be running 2 day test sessions so 22nd looks like the crossover day. I've taken the Feb 22nd off so if anyone wants to hook up we'll swap contact details.
