Pretty impressive images, it's always a pleasure to see images added to this thread !

What software do you guys use for the images ? I find I am having difficulties doing what I want with Lightroom when creating triptychs or collage. Then again, I haven't searched either for a solution.

Thanks !

Galix

All mine have been done in various versions of Ps. The two Triptychs could just have easily been done in Ps using the print module, and simply printing to file. The two images in the post on page three had to be done in Ps since I needed to stretch the sky from one image to fill the frame, so that I then didn't need to make the layer mask for each of the aircraft layers too complex, just get in reasonably close, and feather the edges a bit.

Any time you just need to put some images next to each other, that is when you can use the Print module in Lr. I had three very similar shots from the saturday at Duxford. So just to demonstrate I threw them into the print module, selecting Print package I just picked the Custom 3× Overlap Landscape, and dragged the images to each of the boxes. They even have a Triptych preset, although doing custom layouts isn't that hard once you have a play with the sliders to figure out what they do. Starting with a pre-existing layout will help in the early days at least. This one took me literally 30s to do. The longest bit was finding the images.

You can change the size of the boxes, add border strokes and of course change the background colours.

This is an interesting work. I like this triptych. Well done and composed.
