I really think I need to look at getting a new lens, my very old 75-300 IS just isn't doing the trick.

I miss my 75-300~ I had mine for 9 years, and then it just seized up, but I miss the reach and clarity. This is clear!

you're a great friend, but if Zombies chase us, I am tripping you.

Thankyou for the nice comments.
Probably 2 fold with the lens.
The AF is fairly slow.
I've had this lens for , ummm, when did they release it, 2001? I bought it with my EOS 3 and it had this wonderful new thing called Image Stabilisation. Unfortunately it wasn't stored the best and has a couple of very slight mould spots internally.
Then again, with the magic of lightroom and PS, maybe I'm being a little too self critical.
I'll see how I go :)

So sweet. Beautiful shot. What kind of bird is it? Oh, I see it's in the title.
