The Squirrel kept going up and down the trunk and branches,
and then would venture up close for a look-see.
The Hawk, he couldn't care less and once in a while would look in the
squirrels' direction just to let him know that "I see you, just don't touch me"
I guess he doesn't like squirrel.
Today in NYC of all places.

Squirrel's are pretty bold. I seen one chase a cat around my front yard untill the cat escaped back into my neighbors house

I can see him telling the story of how he got to the "Squirrel Heaven" Pearly Gates one day.

"Yeah, St Peter, I am VERY brave. I once ran out on a branch that a hawk was sitting on, just to tease him". St Peter will say, "when did this happen?" The squirrel will reply "Oh, about 2 minutes ago!"

Wow haha. The hawk just looks like he's being disturbed from a really good nap and looks a bit annoyed by that lol.

Nice capture.

This is what I was thinking, all the rats and winged rats (pigeons and Sea gulls) to dine on

That is funny. Especially when I've personally seen Hawks flying off with large Squirls in their talons!
