Carly, class of 2018. Not done with the composite yet but time to hit the sack for the night.

My only suggestion is to have the subject change their expression somewhat from position to position. Her smile and facial expression is almost identical.

thanks, but that was the idea. If I would have had a wider bench or a better background my intentions were completely different.

They're both nice but be aware of where you crop. You cut her tennies off in picture 1 and her pinkies in picture 2.

Good image. Pose works quite well and good exposure. I like that you got enough light in his eyes.

It would be more flattering to raise the softobx just a little to bring the catch light up higher in his eyes as well as a better angle on the shadow (from his nose).

A good rule of thumb (if the soft box is not angled down, but straight ahead) is to have the bottom of the softbox at about the top of a persons head.

Thanks for the tip, I'll keep that in mind. We were trying to beat the rain and the softbox was being hand held by my daughter. (in house assistant LOL)

Just saved this from my Facebook page onto my phone to post so not sure what the quality will be. Also my flash wouldn't work off camera so I had to mount it on the hot shoe.

May wanna check the crop in #1, I feel like the bottom crop is a bit too tight.

#2 bothers me in a few ways. The flash is bit too harsh, but something about the four girls (or should I say 1) is a bit odd. While I like the different posing idea than the repeatedly done block year next to the student, this just seems too much. Maybe separate them out a bit with a different outfit and stance.

Just my opinion.
