I've just spent a very enjoyable couple of days at the cicuit in Jerez, Spain, for the first testing session of the season.

Very nice, looks like you get better viewpoints than we do !

My god, is that orange thing this years Maclaren ?

No...it's the old car with the new engine, the new car comes on-line in a few weeks.
Orange is the traditional Maclaren colour.

Your colours are so vivid- what kind of camera/lens combo do you use? You're shots are exceptional.

A Canon EOS1 MarkII N and a Canon 100-400L IS, except the wide annge shot which is a Sigme 12-24 DG HSM.

Yeah knew orange was the Maclaren colour, it juts took me by surprise a bit thats all ! After seeing them all black and silver for years ! lol

They wont be orange for the races which is a relief. It wouldn't be too bad if it was a nice tangarine orange...

I think the orange McLaren looks sweet. maybe not that particular tone of orange though. F1 needs an orange team after Arrows demise.

Yeah it would be ok if it didnt look like they had driven it through a cess pit !

A decent orange as V6GTO said wouldnt be too bad, its just this orange is not nice !

WOW…Those are excellent shots I particularly like the De La Rosa picture in the Maclaren, how did the V6 cars sound compared to the V10’s.

What camera and lenses did you use for those.
