I sort of like them, but wish that the reflections in it were cleaner.
And FYI, in the "Share" areas IMAGE POSTING RULES specifically state: "Do not use the forum as your image gallery, post only the best of the best and link to the rest."
This means we allow 2 attachments by the OP per thread, OR 8 embedded (linked) images, OR a combination of 2 attachments + 6 embedded (linked) images, totaling 8 per thread. (Maximum 1024 pixels on any side.) You can always just post a link to more, though, or better yet, post a link to a gallery so we don't have to click on each image link.
Some exceptions are group threads, like "Show Me...", "Post your best...", equipment reviews, Tutorials, etc.
You may add a few additional photos if requested, but only in a reply to other member's post and request.

I like em, good set. Only C&C is maybe a little too sharp on the car.

Wow. I have an S4 and was going to switch to a small SUV and your really making me want to just get a newer S4, it just seems so impractical for a photographer with a dog and everything..

Anyway, pictures look great. 3 & 5 are my favorites

Always do right, this will gratify some people and astonish the rest.

gorgeous car and great shots, good job on picking a gritty backdrop

I would love to see this car in front of something more colorful to create a bigger seperation, make graffiti or a lighter backdrop

Nice car, nice plates. Little too much reflection to my taste, but I like this set. Do you mind to share location?

what year S4 do you have? i had a B7 S4 and a B8 S5 previously.. i love audi and their S models!

what about an avant? i know they no longer make the S4 in avant form, but maybe a B8 A4 or a previous generation B6/B7 S4 avant! it has the cargo space you need :p

and thank you!

thanks! good idea.. this was a spontaneous shoot, to be honest, so i didn't plan too much. i've never owned a black car, so i'm used to having the opposite problem, haha.

understood- i'd prefer to share them as images vs. links.

thanks! i definitely see what you mean. any tips or suggestions to help this? i've never had a black car- it seems like the reflections are WAY more apparent as black becomes almost mirror like!

location is just a local train station :)

With a black car you definitely want to get yourself some circular polarizer (CP) filter. Also open locations with no objects (buildings, trees) around will help a lot since there is nothing to be reflected on shiny car except for sky and ground )

Black is like a mirror, everything reflects into it and you see every little imperfection ... but these shots are really good you know, a polarizing filter would cut some of the reflections but you would need multiple exposures with the circular polar filter at different angles to avoid most of them ... getting rid of all the reflections would be impossible anyway.

I really love that front plate ... is that legal in fact ? Or don't you have to have a license plate up front ... I love the way it looks like a German plate, a beautiful touch you've added there.
