Sorry I didn't see this earlier or I would have commented.

The exposure is nice, maybe a bit overexposed on some of the highlights but that's common with night scenes. My only issue is that the photos lack a clear point of interest for me. Still, for a first attempt it is excellent, and I've taken much worse pictures in my time.

Good composition. Next time, try bumping the ISO up. I was out last night in Baltimore and had some shots that looked like yours. I bumped up the ISO to 1600, 1/30 and f/2.8 and the shots came out a lot better. MOre of the buildings themselves. The lights were blown out still but no way that I know of to get around that. I'd share, but I hit the wrong button this morning and deledted them all .

I was standing in a parking lot in G-town underneath the expressway. It seems that these photos are a little out of focus to me. What could I have changed? I shot these in RAW and was able to clean them up considerably making them a lot sharper. I'll post those tomorrow when I get back to the computer (I don't have CS2 at home, have to wait to get back to the lab in school).
