Thanks Peter and Kiwibloke! I originally went to try and get pictures of the fort that is nearby - but had looked at a 2005 tide table rather than 2006 and so couldn't do what I wanted to do.

The lighthouse capture is very nice. I think this would also be a very interesting early morn or early evening shot.

Rickc - you are right. Only that the sun goes down in such a way here that the tide has to be out to allow access to the beach! That was why my reading the wrong tide table didn't help!

Beautiful shots Damian. The lighthouse is superb, Lighting is wonderful on that photo. Must not have been an easy shot to take.

The sun shining so brightly on the white was a problem and I needed a bit of jiggery pokery in CS to sort it out.
