We are in the path of totality here and it's crystal clear. Kind of wishing I had gotten a filter to shoot it! D'OH!

That sounds like a good one for the TF!!

I am sorry T.D. you do not have a filter. Here we have thin clouds today, not great but I can SEE the sun thru the clouds.

Chuck is busy taking pictures of clouds for the big eclipse!! Isn't that what an eclipse is all about? Watching clouds cover the Sun and Moon?

Ok, who wants a laugh at my expense? Moose for sure, and Charles because he thinks I'm harsh.

We get a partial exlipse here now, it has just slipped behind a cloud. Anyway, had the Lee Big Stopper at the ready, but hadn't attached it properly, it has fallen about 30 feet and smashed on rocks, filter gone, but can I recover the holder? Who knows, but I do feel like a stupid ***** right now.

No sympathy asked or expected.

Ian,

You are not harsh at all, just nasty! :p

I am sorry you lost your filter, but don't let anyone know I told you!

Well that was hurtful.
I would never laugh about someone's broken/damaged/lost camera gear.

Acquiring an STD, perhaps, and maybe a few other misfortunes, but not camera gear.

Although the timing is kinda humorous.

Obviously brown nosing to the TF.

Camera hit me in the face, now I have a bokeh eye.
