thanks for everyone who voted for me (frozen trees)......
on the way to visit my mother, one sunday morning, i came upon this area covered in ice and i did not have my camera with me.....so....i turned around...and drove back to my house to get it.....i couldn't pass up such beauty.... it happend to be one of those golden mornings in upstate NY where mother nature created the pictures....i just captured them for everyone to see.... now.....like my wallet and keys.....my camera is always with me.... |

I was in Missouri in an ice storm like that in the early 1990's. We were skating around the driveways and streets in our socks, and people were crawling on their hands and knees up slight inclines in the sidewalks. They weren't prepared for such icy conditions, and cars were scattered along the roadsides, facing every direction.
brrrrr.

Wow, I just found this... I came 3rd equal twice!
Quite pleased with that, there were a lot of excellent entries.
