Okay, so I shot my own daughter. Now comes the hard part! I've never been on the "deciding end" of the equation. I shoot and let the bride and her family decide. Well... this time we're the family.
So... I'm turning to you for answers. Take a look at these and tell me what you think. I'm interested in feedback on which pose and/or PP treatment you prefer. And if you had to pick just one image as "the" premiere image, which would it be? Note: clicking on a smaller image will display a larger version. - - - ![]() - - - ![]() - - - ![]() - - - ![]()

Thanks guys. My own personal favorites have been 2&3 and the last two.
Any other comments? What do you think of the PP work? Especially #7 which is completely different than the rest?

#1 is the best. It's a timeless pose- one that will be cherished by her children, grand children, great grandchildren... The pose is very natural. It reminds me of paintings in Elizabethan times. I look at this shot and see a girl who is now a woman. (by the way, all the photo's are lovely)

My favorites are #3 in the first row (54551357-L.jpg) and #2 in the last row (54551538-L.jpg), although with a bit of PS work #1 in the last row (54551523-L.jpg) could also be a very nice image.
I don't like the floor in #4 in the first row and the archway that hides a bit of her dress (plus it appears to be a bit crooked), but I kind of like the pose/mood, so maybe with a bit of work you could be pretty happy with it.

Yeah, #2 and #3. She looks very classic, I like it.

As for being crooked... I straighted the image so that the frame on the left side is 100% vertical. So it's the wide angle distortion that is making the right side of the frame look like it's at an angle. <sigh>

I was looking for an old style "classic" look ... at first I went completely B&W with added grain. Then thought I'd go a more sepia route. And finally decided I'd mix it up ... not quite b&w (more of a faded color) and not really sepia either (her wedding colors are pink and green so it's more of a faded pink at least in the facial area).

I agree with a lot that 2 and 3 are really nice. However I think that the second on the second last line (#14) and the last shot really show both personality and that she was enjoying herself. For me, although they are all beautiful, these two show me most the emotion and personality. I do remember trying to make the same choice for my own photos with my wife and we decided on the ones that showed us and how we felt so maybe I am just being a little too personal. Thanks for sharing them good luck, but with a set like this I can not really see a wrong answer.
Cheers,

They are all great, however my favourites are #3 (but would remove the edge on the right side of the frame), the second last one (lying down & smellling the rose) and although not yet mentioned, I also like the one with the cat (your daughter's expression is great and its an excellent 'veiled' shot). Thanks for sharing such a special time with us.
