My initial reaction was that the focal point is too small in the frame -too distant.

After some thought, I'm sticking with the first impression. Good mono conversion btw.

I think it's a great photo, but tend to agree that the subject is too small

yes maybe...but that s for this reason the name of the picture is : secret lovers... . If the people were more important maybe the scene would be less intimate.

I think that is a wonderful cafe and a good find. It has so much character. I would go there often to eventually score an outstanding shot. You have proved the potential is there.

it works but would be stronger with those 2 things on top cut out.....they draw the eye from the lovers and the irritant...(cafe)...those things actually annoy the eye travel....hmmm....don

LOL... maybe yes maybe not... For traveling in my "story", you have to know where is located this story...And If I had broken the glass of the door, the owner of the café would not have been happy!

Great shot! I do agree the a little tighter crop would help out greatly withough taking away from your idea. I played with it a little, and if you don't mind I can post what I did.

o.k now that I am past the inital wow effect it does need to be cropped a bit. but it is till a great shot imho
