Nice set. If these were large crops, you might back off on the crop a tad. The images appear on my monitor to be over sharpened and/or large crops.

Correct - large crops. Third is 1:1. The nest is not easily accessable. Best shots are across four lanes of traffic. These are with 60D / 100-400L at 400. Very gentle sharpening but I'll work on it some tomorrow - thanks for your comment!
