I have bought something, paypaled the money to the seller who then changed his mind about the deal. The seller gave me a 100% refund.

I have a basic unverified paypal account. Is there any way I can get the money back without verifying myself? The amount is 60 USD.

Thanks

So he refunded you (got a transaction number?) but it don't show in your "funds pending" account?

It shows in "funds pending" account on paypal

I just don't know how to get it to come back to my VISA. I only have a few days until my "period is due?"  and I don't want to pay interest.

Basically, I want the funds to transfer from paypal to visa. So that I can have my money at my disposal.

Makes sense?

Yes, but realistically it sounds like you'll need to pay the amount to Visa from your own pocket and then get it back when Paypal have cleared it.

Link a bank to it, you can get it deposited back. I had my TD chequing account linked to it.

Oh yes...it takes a while. It took 3-4 days for me to receive a refund to my bank account. When I called Paypal about the length of time they hit me with "money needing to be released by the Federal Reserve Bank" etc. There is nothing instant about their refund process.

Gotto to love Paypal.

What I can't figure is where the up and coming competitor is? Why are they so far infront of any competition? Why can't Google get into it? Google could buy n sell feeBay if they wanted to...

Why can't I withdraw funds to my credit card?

[GIFS ARE NOT RENDERED IN QUOTES]
We are unable to offer our members the ability to withdraw money to their credit card from their PayPal account due to agreements we've entered into with MasterCard and Visa.

I don't know if they consider a refund the same, however, AFAIK, the only way to get money from PayPal is to have them electronically transfer it to your bank-savings or checking account (different than credit card account) or to have them send you a check ($1.50 fee and 2 weeks).

My advice is that if you need the money soon, you'll have to give them your bank account number for the transfer. I didn't want to do that either, but when I sold a couple of lenses, it was the easiest way to get paid. It'll still take 3-4 business days from your request while they make money on the float.

Good luck,
