Last purchase was relatively tame. I got a Vello tripod ring A for my 200 II.

Next? I am debating the relative merits of two options.

ONE:
Sell 6D and replace with 5D III.

TWO:
Sell 6D and 80D, replace with 5D IV.

My most recent digital purchase was a used 7DII, and although I was not looking, last month I happened across a real
Olympus M-1, the original model designation which Leica forced Olympus to rename to the 'OM-1' !

I now own an Olympus M-1 body -- yes, for real honest-to-god! -- with two genuine 'M-System' lenses, 135mm f/2.8 and 28mm f/2.8
to add to my OM system (OM-1n and OM-4, lenses & accessories)

Last: Just sold my T6s with a bunch of low quality glass and used the proceeds to purchase a Sigma 18-35 f/1.8 Art to go with my 80D. Looking forward to trying it out, my Sigma 50-100 f/1.8 Art is a great lens but I find it just a little too long for shooting 3D printed objects on the printer and indoor family events, so the 18-35 should make a good companion to the 50-100.

Next: Have all the bodies and lenses I want for now, so now I just need two more Yongnuo 600ex speedlites, wireless transmitter and some light stands and modifiers then I'll be all set for a good long while.

Just for fun: Last & next purchases?

I'm excited, like a kid on Christmas, because I just gt a 6D and a 40mm "pancake" lens. My first body in 6 years, and my first lens in 1.5-2 years.

So, just for fun, what was your last significant photo-related purchase, and what are you eying for your next one?

I'm thinking a carbon tripod for my next goal, though I do want to get another tilt-shift lens, a 45mm or 24mm this time, too.

Since I started this thread over three years ago I have kept a low profile in the photo stores. Until today, and what's ironic is that... without thinking of this thread... I purchased a carbon fiber tripod, just as I wanted at that time.

Now, in my mind I am still thinking tilt-shift lens next, but that might not be as certain. I don't have a long lens, so that may come first, not sure.

Last - Zeiss Milvus 50/1.4

Next - Probably not until next spring; but I'm really considering a 4x5 monorail. What's wrong with me...

Last purchase: My wife's gotten me a Yongnuo 50mm for Christmas, it's arrived but haven't been allowed to test it yet. Next will be the YN 85mm or a ball head for my Silk Road, if my daughter's taken the hint with the Amazon links I sent her.

Any light meters you'd be willing to let go? :p
