Very nice Tim. The only one that I am not sure of is the last one, but hey that is just me. I like you creativity. Do you preplan your shots or just do it on the fly.

Question Re: Sharing Wedding 18-2-06

Hey Tim:

I have a question for you. While at a break dance compitition on the weekend I saw a photographer do the last shot here. Is that done with the slowing of the shutter. I think that is what you did. And I think you went up a stop or two on the flash. Let me know.

Thanks.

Great shots Tim, love the heart shaped group picture (finally a group shot that isn't too boring to look at - brings a smile to my face and will most likely be loved by the couple too). And the racing photo is just hilarious!!! BRAVO!

These are great, this is probably a super beginner question, but how to you frame you pictures? I've tried a few times, but get discouraged. I know a lot of people know how to do this, but I'm not one of them.

Thanks again for the post- nice work Tim

I preplan many of my shots, like the finish line, the bride alone, the heart, and the last one. The last one is something like ISO800, 2 sec exposure in Av, F5.6, held high above my head.

Mack - I use "Mike's Framer", search for it on POTN or google, it's very cheap at about $5 and very good

Great stuff Tim.

Like others have said, the heart shaped group shot is a fantastic idea, so glad you had a large enough group to pull it off.

The last shot where you drug the shutter, I especially like. Something you may want to try in the future, is give the camera a bit of a spin before the second flash. I've seen this done, and it really adds some action to the shot.

Between you and Petra, I'm getting some really good ideas for this coming Saturday.
