That is really neat. I have been trying to spot a Hummingbird nest for years.
It's amazing how they accumulate all the materials and manage to place the just the right stuff in just the right spot. Read somewhere they used spider web to hold the whole thing together. |

Thats amazing ! How such a small fast fling bird can actually spend time nesting ! BTW I have too ask what bush or plant are they nested in this picture ?

Joel and Johnny, I really appreciate your kind words
I hope to get some quick pictures of the little hummer in a few weeks. I believe it should take about another week and a half for the baby to hatch. Until then I'll leave the mom alone. |
