Default Motion Blur

I get alot of motion blur handholding shots with my D30. I never have this problem when using my 35mm, even when using slow shutter speeds. Does the smaller image sensor in the dslr somehow contribute to a shakier image?

Are you using the same ISO, shutter speed, and apertures? I'd expect you to get less camera shake with a smaller sensor, not more.

Well, since the photos from the smaller sensor have to be enlarged more, the shakiness causing blur is also enlarged more. The rule of thumb 1/focal length applies to 35 mm; for APS-C, use the "effective focal length" (How I hate that term), the lens focal length * 1.6 if using the rule of thumb.
