In a few words, you cant go wrong with a full frame at $1500.
Its lite, it has a great image quality, its great for performing art high iso.
Its what i needed for the money i had.

If a full frame goes below $1000, point and shoots go below $100, sound nice but in that environment, Id say your salary or savings goes down too (I mean deflation)...so no one really wins. Id say the current price is as cheap as they get in this current environment...

Just discovered an exposure issue with the 6D. Exposure changes just by changing the AF/MF on the lens, with the camera still. Stay tuned...

I tried it with my 24-105 f/4 L, low, medium and bright light, ISO 100, 800 and 3200 in Manual Mode, Spot Metering . No change at all. But with that said does not mean it will not happen. I've not tried my other Lenses or other modes and settings.....

Maybe you should start another thread in the EOS Camera and amp it up to see if there is/ is not a problem?

I see prices like these and people selling 5dii for 1200. I would much rather have a 6d. Heck I'm hoping a 6dii comes out that I can take to ISO 12800. (Right now I don't like 6d past 3200 so 2 more stops of low noise would be nice).

Why would you give it 9 out of 10 on AF, when it's notorious for having a limited AF. So the 5D MKIII would have 10/10 and therefor just be a tad better?

I use it in low light and it locks the subject pretty good.
Maybe there is only one af point I use, but its solid, i never use ai servo unless i really needed it.
You know for the price of this full frame, the af is what you get, i rarely miss a shot because of the AF, so for me its worth giving it a 9, but I am not comparing it to the 5D3.
And the 5d3 is no 1Dx
So you got to give the points accordind to what you do with it.

If they would have had 9 cross points I would have giving it a 10.

You got to compare apples with apples.
i might get the 5D3 or 4 for certain applications, but the 6D never missed a shot.

I use the 6D for sports….really. I take a lot of photos of soccer and works pretty well. I use AI servo, center point and let it fly. Not all the shots are perfect but it does pretty well. I'm sure a 5D3 would be better but I bet I gets lot more shots with the 6D plus 300 2.8 IS…total 4K vs 5Diii and 100-400 L IS. 2-3 stops faster combination and even it's cloudy would be tough to stop action.
