This is a nice little bag that I like to take when I go hiking. Since the bag is small, it makes the trip less strenuous.
I am able to fit either my 6D/24-105 or 6D/150-600 along with filters and cables. This pack fits just enough to allow packing light. It also has a small compartment on the side to fit a 1L camelpack water pouch. It also has a rain proof coat that folds out from the bottom of the pack. I used this not too long ago when it was pouring down rain. When I got back to the car, the backpack was completely dry and none of my equipment took water from soaking through. Great little pack!

I've been considering this one for day hikes and maybe some night landscapes. Good to know the 150-600 will fit :-D

Off topic, you mention filters, do you use filters with the 150-600?

Most definitely not. The filters I carry are for my 24-105.

I have this version as well. I use it a lot when a bike on the trails. I have mine with the hydration pack and it comes in handy.
