So I was thinking of hiring the new Mamiya Leaf Credo 50 for a wedding I'm shooting in April.
This camera is comparable to the Phase One IQ250 in both price and quality.
For those of you who have used Medium Format extensively and, particularly, experimented with the new CMOS sensor is this a good choice for a wedding shoot?
What alternatives would you suggest?

I don't shoot weddings, but I do have the 645Z which has the same sensor as the Phase and Leaf, and its arguably a good choice for anything. Everything up to ISO12,800 is usable considering the resolution. If the mid-point of the dynamic range is at all similar, then make sure not to over expose, as this sensor has only 1 stop of highlight headroom, but 5 stops of shadows. Even if the shots seem under-exposed, there is almost no penalty for pushing them in post (expose for the bride).

I acquired an expensive camera so I can hang out in forums, annoy wedding photographers during formals and look down on P&S users... all the while telling people it's the photographer, not the camera.
