I know this is an old thread, but is the M9 corrosion issue still relevant? Is it still something to lookout for in the used market? Have the fixes gone through fine? Or have people been upgrading to the M at a discount? Thanks in advance!

I will keep my MM, M-E and M 262 (MM and M-E are a t Leica NJ) but I did pick up an M 10. It is the finest 135 or crop format digital camera I have shot with.

I thought the M10 was full frame?

It is. And it is the finest 135 or crop format digital I have ever shot with. The M 10 is a 135 format.

Definitely something to keep an eye out when buying used.

My own M9/MM were sent back to Leica in mid-August last year. I got the M9 back in late December and the MM in mid-January; both had their sensors replaced.
