Default Tamron 17-35mm f/2.8-4 Di

Well I left myself with 50mm being shortest focal length and would like to see some pics from this lens. Also experience and comments with this lens from the members would be great.

Dan

Give it up Dan! Anyone with a case of L-itis like you have will never be happy with anything except a lens that has a red-ring around the end!! Don't bother with other brands.......just get a 17-40 and be done with it! (you know I'm right!!)

Yah Dan, you know you'd just end up selling it to buy the 17-40 anyway... just skip a step.. then you're 1 closer to the N.

Wow, no-ones helped you out yet. Here's two of mine.

1/60 @ f/11

1s @ f/11

This lens is incredibly sharp. I must have a good copy, because I rave about this lens. The bottom photo is not as sharp as it could be, because the tripod I was using wasn't up to keeping the camera stable for the one second exposure.

I'm also going to post a crude shot of the good performance wide open.
