Did a couple of books too, turned out quite well. Colour was a4, black and white was a3. Raffle prizes for the end of season ball that may become a small run

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

Lovely, I see you used an extender on your first shot. I have a 300mm 2.8 and sometimes use a Canon 1.4 extender but I'm just never happy with the image it.


Canon 1DX, 5D3 & 7D: Canon 300is: Canon 70-200 is 2.8: Canon 24-105 is: Canon 10-22 is: 430EXII and a Benro C-257 with a B-2 ballhead: Lee Filters Starter Pack: Lee Big Stopper.

Thanks, they were all shot with an old non i.s. canon 300 f2.8 and mk2 1.4x convertor. If I spent a huge amount on a new lens and body my shots would probably be sharper, but to me, my prints look quite film like so I'm happy .

Local Schoolboy game this afternoon. This young fella did well to beat the tackle of the winger and get the ball and himself down safely !!

I see that sometimes & just reloading the page will bring the images up. Don't know why.

Thanks, Its actually a set of about 8 but missed focus on the first couple which was disappointing but was a spectacular try.
