I shot this image of a Mexican Jay with my 70-300mm zoom on my Canon 20D set to 149mm focal length. The birds flew around the area and sat in the tree above me allowing me to get a variety of closeup shots of them. Next time, I'd use a little fill flash to brighten him up since his body was in shadow. This exposure was 1/400 seconds at f/6.3, ISO 200.
