Awaiting your review...if the gasket truly is a problem...its a problem...all my filters are gasketed....
It was easy removal from my Haida, if any film remaining from another brand, use cooking oil to clean up.

      | Mar 20, 2017 16:00 | #31352 David Arbogast wrote in post #18306147 ![]() Gaskets are a total disaster on my Laowa filter holder. Really comes down to the wide FOV of the lens against the smallness of the 100mm filter...very limited tolerances. It also matters if the filter is not square to the camera. If it's rotated the filter holder itself will vignette in the image. The Laowa filter holder is "built like a tank", which is not the best thing imo. Unlike the Lee holder, its fabricated out of solid metal, and it makes it really heavy. Hope that Bombo holder is lighter. I was hoping to get a fully composite filter holder (a few bombo holders are that way), but the version I need to get has stainless steel, 200g, fairly heavy for it's size I think. there are other sizes, even fully composite filter advertised as lightweight, but had to get this version for it's ultra thin profile to avoid vignetting. I find that banding in LE can sometimes be mitigated by the way you edit the saturaion and luminosity of the colors showing up in the sky. I have had very little issue with it on the Sony. nekrosoft13 wrote in post #18306321 ![]() i gotta ask... i been seething this "pre" going on for a while... what does it mean? Hehe it's a Filipino term of endearment .....Vinz is my kinfolk. Technically it's short-hand for "pare" (pronounced pa-reh), which is a derivative of the Spanish word 'compadre'. focalpointsphoto.com

Adding noise should help, but make sure and use the ACR filter to add "grain" in the effects panel. Much more photographic and natural looking than the "add noise" filter in the PS "noise" filters.
