This is a Hotel in Port Adelaide, Adelaide Australia. It's said that the Port had the most number of pubs in Australia once with one on every corner.
![]() This is a historic port with a lot of renovations happening. More to follow

A pub in every corner? That's quite a distinction. I'd like to see more of the restoration, preferably much closer. Thanks for sharing.

I've been to several similar looking corner pub places when in Aussie. Very much an Aussie look. I miss them: good cheapish grub and friendly, helpful service. The beer always sucks tho'

Yes this is a pretty typical Aussie corner pub.
I hope your not comparing good Aussie beer to that Bud crap

Great shot, Peter - in fact, it could be taken in a lot of Aussie towns and cities - the corner pubs are legendary (and everywhere). Not many look as well preserved as that one, though.
Maybe we should try for an Aussie pub thread - post as many different styles as we can find... |
