Youve obviously been reading up on Oz if you know about Ningaloo Reef as not many people even in Australia know about it ...... Of all of Australia its one of the few places I havnt been to although I have passed it on my way from Broome to Perth but ran out of time to visit it. Apparently the underwater sea life of the reef there is as good if not better than the Great Barrier reef...and thats saying a lot given the Barrier Reefs reputation.

Hi,
I was working in W. Australia once and had the pleasure of diving on the Ningaloo reef one day. The day before I was snorkelling with a whale shark with some others. A memorable time!

I'm jealous! Someday hopefully, I'll make it there too!

If I don't get the shots I want with the gear I have, the only optics I need to examine is the mirror on the bathroom wall. The root cause will be there.

This is unbelievable detail in the 100% crop. I dont think Ive seen a better crop example showing what this sensor can do .......And the fact that you can even read the logo on the covers behind the sailor says heaps to how much resolving power this sensor has got. And importantly it also shows how damn good that 100-400 mk2 is you have!....Hold on to that lens copy thats for sure :).

Amazing crops above!
And a beautiful woman in womanhood.....looks kinda painful though ;)

A got a shot off this morning. Of course my bird was in full shadow=580EXii diffused, trying to overcome the way way bright background
What do you think? Upper beak has a halo but I didn't do any sharpening other than default LR, and then downsampling of course.
