How do you think the newly announced 200mm F/2.0 L will compare?

Well obviously I am 'biased' but F2 is not F1.8 and the current version is the sharpest Lens I have ever had on any camera I have ever owned

no doubt the New 200mm F2 will be a fabulous lens and will sell in great numbers, but I wont be swapping mine for the F2 version

some people will probably panic sell there 200mm F1.8 thinking the price will drop through the floor, I dont see that happening
regards Chris

Wonder how the 200 f1.8 goes with stacked teleconverters?
ie 1.4 and 2x
would work out to 560 f5
Wonder what the iq would be like?

Canon has one, looks like local shipping will be April.

It's so much more versatile than the 200/1.8.
