Can anyone suggest a cheap manual flash and radio trigger for the a6000?
I'm looking at the yongnuo 560-II and CTR 301P, about 100 bucks.
Would that be a waste?
Anything better out there?

My yongnuo flashes have outlasted my Canon ones.

Can't go wrong with them.

Although I'd go with the 560 III and the remote module(YN560-TX). Should still be right at $100-125 and give you control on the fly. Vs having to adjust the settings on the flash itself.

The flash is $66 on amazon right now and the control module/trigger is $50 on there as well.

You can find them cheaper on ebay but some people don't like buying on there.(i bought all my YN lights on ebay with no issues.)

Thanks Alex. Not having to run to the flash would be great.
Amazon has the 560 TX available as "for Canon" or "for Nikon".
Someone in the question section said they use the Canon version with the A6000 as long as all you want is manual control.

I bought the yongnuo 603 II for canon and it works well with the A6000.

So wait, the 560 III will mount to and work on the a6000?

Yes the 560 series are all manual, they don't care what camera you mount them on. I even use them on my film cameras.

It just has one center pin, no communication to the camera other then when to fire.

There's really no canon or no nikon version, they're all the same. Same goes with their manual triggers.

When it comes to their ETTL flashes and ETTL triggers that's another story.
