Ive been hosting my pictures on photobox and flickr but i would like to find a site that would put watermarks on my pictures digitally but remove them when someone tries to buy one, i know i can add them in photoshop etc but then they would be on the prints as well as on screen. BTW a free site would be better for me at the moment

shutterfly has a pro service that will do that. You set your own prices, they bill the customer and send you the money, minus their normal print charges. They automatically resize and watermark your images for web viewing. There is an annual fee to use the service.

I just signed up with Smugmug. Well worth the money for a pro account. I doubt that you'll find much for free.

printroom is the best. they print, ship, take credit cards for me. I just go shoot, upload the events and sit back collect the profits. %70 profits from what I sell using my prices and they do the headache work, leaving me time to go shoot more.

I signed up for Fotki. 55 dollars for 2 years. Unlimited storage. You can sell your pictures and set your prices. I think it's a 15 % fee for selling pictures. I don't see water mark settings but you can protect your photos.

I am on SmugMug. I used to use Printroom. They are very similar. At the moment i am happy with SmugMug and after the recent article by "NY Times or Wallstreet Journal", I cant remember which, I have been getting more hits on the site. Not a lot od=s sales though
