These are not my photos. I came across these while surfing flickr for Sigma 150-600 aviation images.

I think these excellent images are worth sharing here. Maybe these folks are members of our forum ;-)a

It's a fantastic lens, heavy as hell but a very nice performer. I'll be shooting my last airshow of the season tomorrow at Atlantic City...Looks like a VERY light lineup, but I'll get to see a F-22 finally and the Blue Angels.

Very nice set of images, thanks for the addition.
I'll be placing an order for the Sigma Sport soon!

I went with the Contemporary version myself, mostly because of cost, although the lighter weight was also quite important to me. I don't think the C loses out to the S by very much in the IQ department, I'm shooting mine on a 50D.

Forgot to post my last show album
Most are taken with the Sigma Sport, shame the lighting sucked, but hey...that's Atlantic City for you.

Great set, BigDog! Several are my favorites.

I went with the C version, mostly for the light weight. I like the results I'm getting.
But for the heck of it, I plan on renting the S version for an air show in December.
I'm curious if I'll see any sharpness difference.
