Let's See Your Yester-Year / Olden / Filmesque / Creative Processing !

I've really been enjoying giving my images a 'Yester-Year' or 1970's magazine film look lately using Lightroom Presets I've created.

Lets see your creative processing and maybe even share your processing with screen-captures of your settings - or offer your preset files

A few to start off below,

Really like the last of these Will, and the first of the first, which I saw in 70 D.

Canon EOS 70D: added a Canon M5: A mixture of Canon, Sigma, Tamron and Tokina prime and zoom lenses, a Samyang fisheye, and just for fun a couple of Helios 44-2 58m..

Okay I resurrected a couple that I thought might suit a yesteryear look. Used the yesteryear preset, then played with clarity, saturation and vibrance until it looked something like I thought I liked :-)

France Hut at Guthrie Smith arboretum, two very similar views so same processing.

I like this one Rose :-)

I had never visited this forum section before and so I don't know if there is much traffic. I asked where this thread should go and a Mod suggested this section among others. We'll see :p

Here are two I processed with antique/filmesque in mind.

As far as presets, I started with one of the the included antique Lightroom presets then added a bit of contrast & a fair bit of 'clarity', with some minor vignetting.

Agreed; an ancient mill like this is ripe for the treatment. Here are the other two from the day (cross-posted from the 70D thread...shh!)

Derelict house just a bit down the road - not going to be standing for much longer, as has really deteriorated. Lightroom present - sepia I think, with some added contrast and reduced clarity.

Love the first Will, and of course Zeus is very handsome :-).

Still don't think I'm quite getting it right - needs to be softened somehow I think.

Every shot has a mood and I have about 10 to 15 (olden/filmy) presets I use regularly depending on the mood that is there and what I want to achieve. But when I apply a preset I always adjust because exposure is different on every shot.

I will try to round up my main presets and you can play with them if you like

Okay - thanks Will. I also need to play a little more too, but if I look at the settings on your presets it will give me more idea of where I need to make the adjustments.
