Hello All. I have seen other posts about this, but they were a few years old and had no solutions. I don't think that those people will reply to me since their last posts were so many years old.
Here is my problem, I hope that someone can help me. I have an old Canon A300. It still works fine and I know the ins and outs of it. Recently I thought I downloaded all 21 images on my PC, but when I looked back in my camera it turned out it missed a few. I only got 18. When I plug it back in the PC, I still can't see those missing images but I know they are on the card. Also this time, I can only see 9 pics instead of the 18 I saw previously. There are 21 pics on the card, but the PC will only see 9 of them. Funny, because it saw 18 earlier. I tried Zoom Browser, My Computer, and Imaging. All the same. My PC and my laptop both do the exact same thing. Both are up to date, with USB 2.0 . I blame the card or the camera. Thoughts anyone? THanks david |

Hmm. Not really sure about this..
The best place to find technical help is through Google groups. You might find the answer there. |

Have you tried putting your card into a reader instead of connecting your camera? You would be able to determine if it is the card or the camera that is fritzing on you.

Have you got your file viewer set to view hidden files, just incase they have been set to hidden by mistake?

Hey guys,
thanks! I tried the google groups with no luck and yes my Winxp is set to see hidden files. I think the next thing to try is a card reader, or perhaps someone else's Canon Camera? Thanks for your input, I appreciate it! If anyone else has ideas, please let me know. david |

You might also try reloading the drivers. You can visit Canon USA's Powershot web site and look under "Support" for discontinued models to get the latest.
